To All Who Respect Me.

Treat others with love. Love everyone. Fall in love with everything. And treat everything and everyone as if you’re in love with them. You have no idea what others are going through.

And whatever you do, DON’T take life for granted. Never consider taking you’re own life. Far too selfish.

I met someone tonight. She was REALLY nice and a very sweet and lively girl. Beautiful inside and out. She knows who I am and asked to take a picture with me. After 15 minutes of talking to her I guess I triggered enough trust for her to let me know that she was planning on taking her own life tonight when she returned home from the concert.

Somehow, with the most blessed words I could’ve ever been given, I convinced her to at the very least just wait until I could see her again in January on the next tour. She agreed. I then I received her phone number, snuck some money in her pocket to make sure she had enough Cab & Train money, and embraced her. I gave her the longest hug I’ve given in 10 months and I told her that I loved her (as I do, and as I love everyone who reads this.) it’s been 5 hours since it’s happened, and as I type this while I’ve been shaking, carefully choosing my words, I can tell you she’s about to be one of my dearest friends. I love her so much. And I’m not afraid to tell a single person, because I love every single one of you as well. With everything I am. Because I’ve been through exactly what she is going through. And it’s Hell.

Pain will occur. That’s how you know you’re alive. Love Pain. Love sadness and heartbreak, and separation, tears and disappointments. If you don’t feel those things, you’re not alive.

I’m not saying any of this to say I’m better than you or wiser or any of that nonsense. I’m sharing this with you because as an equal, I love all of you so much. And to the beautiful girl I met tonight, I love you. And I cant wait to see your face smiling and talking to mine on the next tour.
